ABOUT JAY
Jay Stoddard, owner of Grand Island based Jay Stoddard Enterprises, is a fifth generation, lifelong Nebraskan. Jay is a family man, happily married to his lovely wife, Dorothy. They have three grown children that have blessed them with nine grandchildren.
A graduate of Ord high school, Jay attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney and, among other talents is a certified horologist, a watchmaker. He had a very successful career as an Allstate Insurance agent for 45 years. In 1988 he was recognized as their Insurance Agent of the Year.
Jay is a very community minded person He has served on numerous boards and committees including being a member of the Grand Island school board, serving as President of the Grand Island PTA, President of the Grand Island Life Underwriters, Scout Master and Charter Member of Troop #119, Little League Coach and YMCA basketball coach. He has worked as a volunteer with the Salvation Army and the Red Cross board.
